New Cover Art - Free Story Archive

Most of the new free story archive covers are finished. I'm particularly pleased with them. I thought about hyperlinking them to the appropriate story, but decided some people might want to expand them out to see larger versions. All of these stories are located in the Michael Alexander Free Story Archive.

Three sets is just a standard charcoal drawing, but I had a lot of fun with Photoshop getting it to look old.

This cover was actually a conglomerate of a candle picture I took, along with a bit of the original NHPS shot.

This one took a bit of editing and manipulation, but I think it turned out well, especially as a lead into the Heart of Ice.

I'm REALLY proud of this one. It's hard to see, but inside the ice crystal is a reflection of a breast. I know. It's a small detail, but the world is made up of them.

I've always enjoyed rereading Angie's Experiment. Mostly because it reminds me of Breanne.

The typical plaid little school girl skirt inspired this cover. I have no idea why.

This one I'm perhaps proud of the most. The actual Dance Dance Revolution logo is trademarked, which presented a bit of a problem. So while the logo is trademarked, the arrows on the game are not. The logo is of a girl dancing, just the shadow, but radically different than the one I've put together. Thus I'm not in violation of any copyrights and I still get my point across. This is my second favorite cover after Heart of Ice.

If there is a particular one you want to read, you can click the permanent link to a story in the side bar, or you can just click right here to go directly to the FREE STORY ARCHIVE!

I'm still in the process of getting covers for "The Dinner", "The Wedding", and "The Staircase" together, however I want something very specific for each of those and I'll either have to commission art or take the pics myself. In either case, it will take a bit more time. I'll probably put temp covers up, but we'll see. If you're an aspiring artist and want to take a crack at it, let me know!
